Navigating the college admissions process can feel overwhelming — deadlines, essays, lists, and uncertainty. As a counselor, I have always been passionate about helping students and their families by bringing clarity to the chaos of college information available online.

Since 2006, I’ve guided families on college admissions — first as an admissions counselor, then as a school-based college counselor. I’ve had the privilege of supporting hundreds of students through thoughtful planning and strategic choices that reflect their goals and strengths. Visiting over 150 campuses across the U.S. has deepened my understanding of what makes each college unique and how students can best express their fit.

In 2023, I launched Insight College Counseling so I could offer the individualized support many students deserve but don’t always receive in a traditional school setting, especially public school students. I’m a strong believer that success isn’t about finding the “perfect” college — it’s about creating a plan that leads to multiple great-fit options and giving students and families the confidence to make informed decisions. My professional experience has allowed me to support students who have faced personal or academic speedbumps and students with nearly perfect records. I believe that everyone has the potential to be successful.

When I’m not reading essays, visiting campuses, or working with students, you’ll find me at Zumba, curled up with a good book, or cheering on Penn State football. I split time between Rehoboth Beach, DE and my home in Chester County, PA, where I live with my husband and my two fur babies, Max & Levi.
